Little Red Mittens

Do Remember this

Every snow flake that has been
Or ever will be
Is unique and different

A rich geometry of beauty
That swirls from the heavens
Creating in the air as it drops to earth,
Its own particular sweet design.

Remarkable,

That no other flake will ever be exactly like another

And to think that
This is just a snowflake
It lasts no longer than a minute
When you catch it in your little red-mittened hand

Now isn't that extraordinary
and marvelous
not one the same as the other

Each blade of grass
Each tiny grain of sand
Sand so plenty it could never even be counted

Glorious
Wonder

Not one infinitesimal glittering bit is the same

Wonders upon wonders

So,

Be You
Sweet Child
Sparkle and Shine
Be Your Self

That makes
The Whole Universe Smile
