A little bit about
Sandy Jones

We have been taught from the beginning that we are a point in time and space---a body; born in time and moving through time and one day gone. We focused on the belief that each one of us is a little human speck with eyes in head peering out at what seems to be an objective world 'out there'. We feel that we are separate and apart from others and things and our world.....but.......

......Inner Light, the deeper knowing part of us tells us the opposite. It tells us that our Real Identity is infinitely more than a speck in space....that the Self is really Ever Present Awareness Itself....that Life is really a subjective experience, that everyone and every thing is within the Self ....the Self is Everywhere at once, the Self is Awareness and Awareness is God's....Life is God's Infinite Awareness wherein all things appear.

Seeing 'our selves' and our life as Subjective is not easy at first....but it is possible to make this shift in our understanding.

The Illuminative Revelation that we are Awareness Itself and this Awareness is God's Alone, brings with it a grand peace and an ability to navigate the back and forth tides of human experience and time. Understanding beings with it a marvelous peace.

Realizing who we really are allows us to become more confident in our God-given Gifts and Talents.....we step out and do what we are here to do, with Grace and Love leading the way.

The realization of our Oneness with Awareness does not have to be a blinding Light experience of Illumination.....One can simply begin thinking of oneself as the Infinite Awareness she/he IS---acting on the fact that we are not outside of God's Being, but one with God's Beingness.... this seems sufficient for the wonders of Joy and New Life to begin happening in and as our daily Living Experience.

So, I paint "Home". What is home? Home is so much more than bricks and wood and rafters....home is more; it is Rest and Refuge, Relaxation, Ease, Comfort, Security, Calm, and Quiet companionship. Home is a Spirit that is beyond words....it is a feeling, senses, sights, sounds....something cooking in the kitchen----the sound of homemaking---a churning washing machine, dishes being washed....something special happens when one enters the home.

My art work is simple, gentle, childlike and honest. It is meant to remind us that we are always Spiritually home because our Spiritual Home is "where" Awareness is....Awareness is always present.... Awareness is real, more real than the tangible form of home and It resides Right Here...Beyond any doubt, I know God is All and that I am one with The Living Presence of God's Allness.....The very experience of this makes it all quite obvious....One of the wonders of every new truth is its astounding simplicity, its awesome and holy simplicity..
